Our Performances
Performance is an important part of the dance experience at Engage Dance Academy. From a dancer's first recital to advanced theatrical productions, our students have opportunities to build confidence, stage presence, and a love of performing.

As the dance company in residence at the Raue Center for the Arts in downtown Crystal Lake, Engage dancers perform on a professional stage in front of a live audience. Throughout the year, our dancers take part in Progressions, The Nutcracker, Pointes for a Purpose, and additional performances throughout the community.

A Holiday Tradition
Each holiday season, Engage Dance Academy and Raue Center for the Arts bring the magic of The Nutcracker to the stage. This annual production brings together Engage dancers of different ages for a memorable performance experience and has become a special holiday tradition for our dancers, families, and community.

Celebrating a Year of Dance
Progressions is Engage Dance Academy's annual all-studio recital, bringing dancers of all ages together to celebrate a year of growth, hard work, and a love of dance. Featuring a variety of dance styles, Progressions gives every dancer the opportunity to take to the stage and share what they've accomplished each year.
Giving Back to Our Community
Pointes for a Purpose is our annual spring production performed by dancers in Engage Dance Theatre, our pre-professional program. Each year, a portion of the proceeds benefits a selected charitable organization. Past beneficiaries include Big Brothers Big Sisters, CASA, Flint Creek Wildlife Rehabilitation Center, Crystal Lake Food Pantry, Service League of Crystal Lake, Purrfect Cat Rescue, and Senior Services.
